China is the hometown of tea, and Chinese tea culture serves as the cradle of tea cultures in various countries. It has evolved into British tea culture, Japanese tea culture, Korean tea culture, Russian tea culture, and Moroccan tea culture, among others. In 2022, traditional Chinese tea processing techniques and their associated customs were inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. In order to disseminate and promote Chinese tea culture, we aim to make friends, educate people, and show courtesy through tea.

The company has specially invited Mu Chu and Yang Yan, national senior tea art masters, to study and taste tea with everyone and have a conversation about tea together.

Chinese tea culture is extensive and profound. It originated with Shennong, was known to the Duke of Zhou of Lu, flourished in the Tang Dynasty, and reached its peak in the Song Dynasty. Now, it has been passed down for thousands of years. The tea art masters have carefully collected 25 representative famous tea samples from the six major tea categories: green tea, white tea, yellow tea, oolong tea, black tea, and dark tea, such as Wulong Mingzhu, White Peony, Oriental Beauty, Yashixiang (Duck Shit Aroma), Fenghuang Dancong, Milanxiang (Honey Orchid Aroma), Zhengyan Shuixian, Ancient Tree Sun-dried Black Tea, Jasmine Golden Needles, etc. Just by looking at their colors and smelling these fine teas, one can already feel half-drunk. The tea art masters demonstrated a series of tea art procedures, including warming the cups and utensils, adding fragrance with a fair hand, rinsing the tea leaves, refilling with sweet spring water, pouring the tea back into the pot, dripping the water with a rhythmic flow, and presenting the tea with courtesy. Their detailed explanations of each step of the tea art not only allowed us to appreciate the unique taste and charm of each brew of tea but also enabled us to feel the profound connotations of tea culture and the cultivation of the tea ceremony. Tea adds fragrance to people, and people add luster to tea.

Through today’s elegant gathering, everyone experienced that tea is not only a beverage but also a culture and an art. It allows people to enjoy the influence of culture and art while savoring the fragrant tea. At the same time, the tea ceremony is also a way of social interaction. Through tea ceremony activities, communication and understanding among people can be promoted. In future daily receptions of international friends, let tea culture transcend national boundaries and become a common spiritual wealth of human civilization.
